Waste management is a crucial enabler of the circular economy, as recovering materials or energy from food waste is necessary to close loops and ensure a continuous resource stream.
At Alterdross Systems Ltd, we expertly- managed collection, treatment, disposal and recycling of waste.
Our Waste Transformers enable food waste producers to transform their own organic waste (between 350-3600KG per day) into biogas.
The biogas is transformed into electricity and heat inside the system, and feeds directly back into the building or grid, like solar panels.
The valuable nutrients in the organic waste are saved and can be used as an organic locally produced liquid fertilizer, as a replacement for artificial (oil-based) fertilizers. In this way, food waste producers create a circular local economy around their own valuable waste streams.
